A woman’s connection to her chest is key and greatly influences the visibility, the message and the functionality of jewelry worn in this territory. A woman’s chest has controversial cultural meanings, much like a woman’s place in society - at times sexualized and always subject to the male gaze, and at the same time seen as the embodiment of motherhood and nurturing.  

Personally, I was always embarrassed of my boobs for various reasons. Knowing that many women share these feelings, I aspired to connect with them through my work using everyday feminine objects, technical mechanisms, and jewelry details. By doing so, I hope to make a statement and evoke questions about such a relevant yet silenced subject.
