My "Fertility Now" creation began from observing and studying a 19th-century barbarian fertility jewel from Morocco. The ancient piece has an oval spherical shape that is adorned with repetitive "evil eye" symbols, made from traditional silver filigree and enamel symbolizes fertility.

I wish to enter the fertility subject into our daily discourse regarding femininity and society. In order to do so, I'm quoting the traditional symbols into an updated phrase of the current context.

Today's birth-control-pill is a symbol of "intentional fertility"; the woman is no longer just a vessel meant for reproducing. I have preserved the oval shape and general characteristics of the original design, giving the pendant a new vocabulary and meaning containing modern materials, technology and techniques, combined with ready-made artifacts.
